UV Absorbers UV-326

Ultraviolet Absorber UV-326 (also known as Light Stabilizer 326, Bumetrizole) is a high-efficiency benzotriazole-type ultraviolet absorber, with the chemical name 2-(2'-hydroxy-3'-tert-butyl-5'-methylphenyl)-5-chlorobenzotriazole, or 2-(5-chloro-2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methylphenol.

This product effectively protects polymer materials from degradation caused by ultraviolet radiation by absorbing UV light in the 270-380 nm wavelength range and converting it into harmless thermal energy. As a representative variety among benzotriazole-type UV absorbers, UV-326 is widely used in plastics, coatings, photosensitive materials, and other fields due to its characteristics of stable performance, low toxicity, and strong UV absorption capacity.

UV326 is a representative benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber with excellent ultraviolet absorption ability, especially strong absorbance in the range of 300~400nm, and no absorption in the visible region (>400nm). UV326 has extensive indirect food contact approval in polyolefin with low volatility and heat stability.

Suitable for polyolefin (especially food grade products), polyvinyl chloride, polyamide, ABS resin, AS resin and polyurethane.
