Applications
UV-1130 is primarily used in the coatings field and is particularly suitable for applications with high weather resistance requirements:
Automotive Coatings: Automotive topcoats, clearcoats, primers, etc.
Industrial Coatings: Coil coatings, engineering machinery coatings, heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, etc.
Wood Coatings: Exterior wood coatings
Waterborne Coatings: Can be applied in waterborne systems after emulsification
Other Materials: Polyolefins, engineering plastics, elastomers, adhesives, PVC, ABS, PS, PMMA, etc.
Product Advantages
UV-1130 performs excellently in the industrial coatings and automotive coatings fields. Its main advantages include:
Excellent Weather Resistance: Effectively inhibits coating gloss loss, cracking, blistering, peeling, and discoloration
High Temperature Resistance: Withstands high-temperature processing conditions, making it suitable for high-temperature curing coating systems
Extraction Resistance: Remains stable in harsh environments and is not easily extracted
Waterborne System Suitability: Easy to emulsify and can be added directly to waterborne coating systems
Synergistic Effect: When used in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) such as UV-292 and UV-123, it produces significant synergistic effects
Usage Recommendations
Typical Addition Levels:
UV-1130 used alone: 1.0–3.0% (based on solid resin)
Combination with UV-292 or UV-123: UV-1130 1–3% + HALS 0.5–2%
Usage Precautions:
Can be used after mixing and stirring thoroughly
Not recommended for use in certain two-component polyurethane (PU) coatings (pre-testing required)
