Applications
Optical brightener OB is widely used in PVC, PE, PP, PS, ABS, PMMA, POM and other thermoplastic plastics as well as thermosetting plastics, polyester fiber

Reference dosage
1. PVC:
In the soft or hard PVC:
Whitening: 0.01-0.05% (10-50g/100kg material).
Transparency: 0.0001~0.001% (0.1-1g/100kg material).
2. PS:
Whitening: 0.001% (1g/100kg material).
Transparency: 0.0001~0.001 (0.1-1g/100kg material).
3. ABS:
Adding 0.01-0.05% of this product to ABS can effectively clean the original yellow to whitening it.
4. Polyolefin
It has good whitening effect on polyethylene and polypropylene.
Transparency: 0.0005~-0.001% (0.5-1g/100kg material).
Whitening: 0.005-0.05% (5-50g/100kg material).
Package & Storage
10kg or 25kg/ fiber drums. It can be packed in other forms according to user's requirements.
Shelf life: not more than 24 months in the room temperature.

A: OB has a lower melting point (~200℃), suitable for general plastics, coatings, and inks. OB-1 has a higher melting point (358℃), suitable for high-temperature engineering plastics and polyester fiber. If processing temperature exceeds 250℃, choose OB-1.
Q2: Does OB cause haze in transparent plastics?
A: No. OB has light transmittance ≥96%, completely dissolves in transparent plastics without causing haze or particle sensation, maintaining product transparency.
Q3: Why isn't the whitening effect good enough after adding OB?
A: Possible reasons: ① Insufficient dosage ② Poor dispersion ③ Base material has strong yellow tone. Try increasing dosage or extending mixing time.
