Fluorescent Whitening Agent ER-I (also known as C.I. Fluorescent Brightener 199, FBA 199) is a bisdiphenylethylene-type fluorescent whitening agent, appearing as a yellow-green crystalline powder. This product is insoluble in water but soluble in most organic solvents, and exhibits a violet-blue fluorescence under UV light excitation. ER-I is internationally recognized as one of the ideal whitening agents for polyester fibers, and is widely used in industries such as textiles, plastics, and coatings.

Features
ER-I is a whitening agent for polyester. It is non-toxic, odorless, non-ionic and soluble in most of organic solvents. Product Whitened by ER has a natural pure white appearance. Being stable in chemical properties and characterized by strong high-temperature resistance and light stability, ER is one of the most ideal whitening agents generally accepted internationally for polyester fiber.
Applications
A good whitening agent for polyester fiber and a good whitening effect on plastics such as PE,PP and PVC and their process of shaping with polyester chips or recovered polyester chiaps.

Reference dosage
The fluorescent brightener ER-I (FBA199) is added to the mixer together with polyester chips and other textile additives.
The recommended dosage of fluorescent brightener ER-I is 0.05%-0.5% (in proportion to the weight of polyester).
Package & Storage
10kg or 25kg/ fiber drums. It can be packed in other forms according to user's requirements.
Shelf life: not more than 24 months in the room temperature.
