Features

Optical Brightener KCB whitening agent is now the premium grade whitening agent among a variety of fluorescent whitening agents. It has strong whitening effect, vivid blue light, excellent heat resistance and weather resistance and chemical stability.

Applications

Optical Brightener KCB is mainly used for the whitening of plastics and synthetic fiber products, and also has obvious brightening effect for colored plastic products. It is also widely used in ethylene/EVA copolymers, and is the excellent fluorescent whitening agent for sports shoes. It is also widely used in plastic films, molding materials, Injection molding materials and polyester fibers such as PE, PP, PVC, PS, ABS and PMMA, especially good at whitening of EVA.

Main Application of Optical Brightener KCB In Plastics Industry (Core Applications):

General Plastics: PE (Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), PS (Polystyrene)

Foamed Plastics: Particularly effective for EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer) and PE foam

Engineering Plastics/Elastomers: TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber), PU foam, Synthetic Rubber

Other Applications:

Plastic films, compression molding materials, injection molding materials

Whitening of polyester fibers

Whitening and brightening of coatings, natural lacquers, etc.

Reference dosage

Generally 0.005%-0.05%(According to the material weight)

(i.e., 5 grams to 50 grams per 100 kg of plastic).

Note: The specific dosage should be adjusted according to the whiteness requirement of the substrate and the product thickness. For films or thin-layer products, the dosage is usually lower, while for thick products or foamed products, a higher dosage may be required.

Operation Method:
This product is in powder form. It must be thoroughly mixed with the resin before use (using either pre-dispersion or direct mixing methods) to ensure that the brightener is uniformly dispersed in the substrate without agglomeration.
