Fluorescent Whitening Agent ER-III (also known as C.I. Fluorescent Brightener 199:2, FBA 199:2) is a stilbene-type fluorescent whitening agent, appearing as a bright yellow crystalline powder. This product is insoluble in water but has good dispersibility in organic media. ER-III belongs to the same ER series as ER-I and ER-II, but features rapid adsorption and a low color-developing temperature, making it particularly suitable for the whitening treatment of polyester and its blended fabrics.

Features

Applications
Optical Brightener ER-III is suitable for whitening and brightening of polyester fiber melt spinning.Applied to the whitening process of Dacron, acetic fiber, polyamide fiber, blends of terylene-cotton.
Add 0.02-0.08%(compare with polyester) in polyester fiber, or adjust it according to the whiteness requiryment, or add dulling agent, blue violet dyes. The dosage 10-60% of mixture will be best if need to mix with ER-I,ER-II.
Combined Use with ER-I/ER-II
Mixing Ratio: It is recommended that ER-III accounts for 10-60% ofthe mixture.
Effect: Can improve thermal stability.
