Light Stabilizer LS 622 (also known as Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer 622) is a high molecular weight polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) with the chemical name poly(4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidineethanol) succinate. This product is an oligomer that effectively inhibits the photo-oxidative degradation of polymers through a free radical scavenging mechanism.
Compared with low molecular weight HALS, LS 622 exhibits lower volatility, excellent migration resistance, and extraction resistance. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring high durability and extraction resistance, such as films, fibers, tapes, and other high-specific-surface-area products.

Features
LS 622 can shield the ultraviolet light, reduce the transmission effect of UV light; and can also absorb high energy UV light (wavelength 290 ~ 400 m) strongly.
Applications
Light Stabilizer 292 is especially developed for coatings and can be used in a broad range of applications such as automotive refinish coatings, industrial topcoats, coil coatings, wood stains or trade sales paints and varnishes, radiation curable coatings.

Performance Evaluation and Synergistic Effects
Used Alone: As a high molecular weight HALS, it provides long-term light stabilization protection, effectively preventing issues such as gloss loss, cracking, blistering, delamination, and discoloration.
Used in Combination with UV Absorbers: Exhibits a significant synergistic effect, which is particularly pronounced in pigmented systems.
Used in Combination with Other High Molecular Weight HALS: Produces synergistic effects when combined with high molecular weight HALS such as LS 944 and LS 119.
Used in Combination with Antioxidants: Further enhances thermal stability and UV stability
