Antioxidants AO-3114

Antioxidant 3114 is a high molecular weight, trifunctional hindered phenolic primary antioxidant with the chemical name 1,3,5-tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) isocyanurate. Due to its high molecular weight and high melting point, it exhibits extremely low volatility, low migration, good water extraction resistance, no staining, and no discoloration. It imparts excellent thermal oxidation resistance and photo-oxidation resistance to plastics. This product is essentially non-toxic and is suitable for a wide range of polymer materials, with particularly remarkable effectiveness in polyolefins.

Antioxidant AO 3114 has low volatility and high resistance to extraction. It is odorless and stable to light.

High Molecular Weight & High Melting Point: With a molecular weight of up to 784 and a melting point exceeding 218°C, it features extremely low volatility, low migration, and good water extraction resistance.

Trifunctional Hindered Phenol Structure: Possessing three hindered phenolic functional groups, it offers high antioxidant efficiency, effectively capturing free radicals and interrupting the oxidative chain reaction.

Excellent Thermal and Photo-Oxidation Resistance: Provides good protection against both thermal oxidative degradation and photo-oxidative degradation of polymers, significantly extending the service life of products.

Non-Staining & Non-Discoloring: As a hindered phenolic antioxidant, it does not cause discoloration or staining of products, making it suitable for applications with high color requirements.

High Safety: Essentially non-toxic and suitable for food contact material applications.

Antioxidant AO 3114 is recommended to use in thick PP in outdoor applications, polyolefin fiber and films, polyethylene wire and cable, roto-molded polyolefins, color-sensitive plastics.

Shelf life: not more than 24 months in the room temperature.
