Product Overview
Optical Brightener OB-1 is a high-performance oxazole-type brightener. It is insoluble in water, chemically stable, and exhibits excellent heat resistance, light fastness, chlorine bleach resistance, and migration resistance. This product is particularly suitable for the high-temperature processing of various plastics and plastic products.
Applications
Fiber Whitening: Ideally suited for the thermosol pad-dyeing whitening of polyester fibers, as well as polyester/cotton and other blended fabrics.
Plastic Whitening: Widely used in ABS, PS, HIPS, PA, PC, PP, EVA, and rigid PVC products.
Polyester Systems: Effective in polyester spinning solutions, nylon, polyamide, and polyester materials, delivering significant whiteness improvement.
Recycled Materials: When added to recycled polyester fiber waste, bottle flakes, or pellets, OB-1 not only enhances whiteness but also helps harmonize color consistency across different batches.
Recommended Usage
Add Optical Brightener OB-1 at a dosage of 0.01%–0.05% of the weight of the plastic or polyester pellets. Mix thoroughly with the material prior to molding, extrusion, or fiber spinning.
Packaging and Storage
Available in 10 kg or 25 kg fiberboard drums. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
