Solvent Blue 104 (also called Transparent Blue 2B, Solvent Blue RBL) is an anthraquinone-type solvent dye with the chemical name 1,4-bis[(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)amino]-9,10-anthracenedione. It is a dark blue to blue-black powder with a bright, pure shade. It has good light fastness and heat resistance (stable up to 300°C), is insoluble in water, and is soluble in many organic solvents including ethanol, acetone, and ethyl formate.

Features
